MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS
Using scissors or garden shears, carefully cut off all old straps and fasteners, then remove them from the slots. Thoroughly clean the furniture. If any structural repairs or painting are needed, this is the ideal time to address them.

Position the tape measure on the outer edge of the left side of the frame and extend it across to the outer edg e of the right side of the frame, then add 1 inch as in

Use a 15/64″ drill bit to drill a hole just above the slot, as shown in Pic. 1
Submerge the straps in a pot of hot water for 5 minutes before installation. To protect your hands, we recommend wearing gloves. When ready, use tongs (optional) to handle the straps. Install each strap immediately after removing it from the water, as it will cool and harden quickly.
Insert the rivet into both strap holes. Place the rivet into the hole on one side of the chair frame and gently tap it with a hammer if needed to secure it as shown in Pic. 2
Stretch the strap and pull it 3 inches over the opposite side of the chair frame. Insert the rivet into the hole on the right side of the chair frame, using a hammer if needed to secure it, as shown in Pic. 3
